Another year is coming to an end and I can’t believe it’s already New Years Eve. This year has past by so fast I’m not sure I realize that it’s already over. So many things have happened that I can’t even begin to wrap my head around it all.

This time last year I sat down for the first time to write goals for the upcoming year. It felt odd. Silly to be honest. I wrote down specific things that I wanted to do, areas of my life that I wanted to focus on and goals for both my business and my private life. On my list of goals was things like ’workout to feel good’, ’go trail running in the mountains’ and ’establish my business enough to live on it’. But out of all the things on my ”goal board”, the one I am most proud to be able to check off the list, has nothing to do with any of these. Yet it’s got everything to do with everything.

What I am most proud of in 2017

The one thing that I am most proud to be able to check off the list, was the thing that felt the strangest to write there in the first place. Maybe because it’s not really a goal as much as a guideline, or maybe it’s because it means so much to me. But because it means so much to me, I get goosebumps knowing that I can say I did it.

Do things with your heart and always trust your intuition.

2017 has been a year with both ups and downs, sweet and sour, courage and doubt. But from all that has happened this year – what I will remember the most is that 2017 was the year that I, for the first time in my life, truly dared. Dared to believe in myself and my ideas. Dared to do things that other people thought would never work. Dared to follow my heart and invest in things that I believed in. 2017 has been the year that I realized I can change the world if I want to. One heart-filled act at a time.

One of the things that have been most significant in my 2017 is the people I have spent it with.

I’ve gotten to know so many great new people and also spent more quality time with friends and family. I have had great people around me in both business and private life. And as a wise person said recently – when it comes down to it, what really matters is the relationships that you have in your life. Nothing else. And this year I have made sure to really value the relationships in my life.

2017 was also the year when I did things so far out of my comfort zone, I would never have believed it if you told me a year ago. Also, I have kept the most important promise to myself that I have ever made – to keep showing up. Every single day. No matter how hard or pointless it may seem at the time.

Speed doesn’t matter. Forward is Forward.

So far 2018 looks like it will be just as good, or even better. I have learned so much about myself and what I want to do. The insecurities that lined the first months of this year have changed and now I look upon next year with excitement, determination and humility. If I give and act with all my heart – more good things that really matter will come my way.
I am wiser, calmer and more humble than ever. I’m gonna try and make 2018 the best year yet and I want to take yet another step towards my vision – making the world a better place. Thank you all for sharing this year with me. I hope you want to continue tagging along to see what 2018 will bring.

I have made time for plenty of cups of coffee out in nature this year. Something I will keep doing in 2018.

Family time and adventures  – so many great memories and plans for the future. This weekend in our friends cabin was one of the best ones.

Until August this year I had never been to Åre. Now I have been there twice. This time was together with Kvinnliga Äventyrare. Now I am going back again in January 2018. A great place that I have come to love.

After almost a year of planning, in September we finally got to see the result when Träningsfesten took place here in Gällivare. Without my amazing team this would never have happened. Glad we did it and glad we will do it again next year!

One of the goals on my list was to ”become a runner”. Whatever that is. I consider that goal reached since I have kept running, no matter how hard it have felt some days. I actually thought I would run even more. But I’m being kind on myself and feel like this year was a great start of something that I will keep doing more of in 2018. Running might be the best therapy.

2017 has been a lot of time on the road and travelling. To Åre, Lycksele, Luleå and more. This photo was taken on my way to Lycksele where I had to courses in digital marketing. Not only do I want to more of that, I met so many lovely people that inspired me to do even more. You’ll probably see more of that in the next year.

One of the things that I am most proud of this year is the podcast that me and Alice started this fall. We’ve received so much love and support from people all over the place. It really feels like we are doing something good and I’m glad we will continue with this. Talking to people and getting to know their story is something I hope to do more of in the future. Also, spending this much time with Alice has been a true pleasure. Can’t believe this is my job now!

I finally made sure I did something with my pictures. This fall I made some of them available through Printler. Now some of my favourites can hang on other people’s walls and hopefully make someone happy.

Never have I had so many good things happen to me and so many great opportunities to come my way. Still I have had the courage to follow my heart and not say yes to Everything. I have chosen carefully. Taking time to pause, think, reflect and act has been a large part of my year. Even though this one is on my ”get better at” list for 2018.

Talking infront of people has always been hard for me. But I realize now, that when I talk about things that really matters to me, I love it. Here at the VIP event at the Peak Performance store in Luleå. A part of our collaboration that I am so proud of.

Even though I have travelled a lot and worked plenty – I have made time for family and friends. Here in Ritsem together with Hanna and her family. A weekend I will always remember.

It’s easy to forget and miss out on our own progress. Looking back now I am glad I have invested both time and money in my own progress and development. When I see the pictures that I took in Lofoten this summer, I realize that I managed to both have an amazing time with my family AND take great pictures. Yes. I am proud.

I rounded of this year with buying myself a new camera. Because I’m worth it. ♡

Thank you 2017 for everything that you taught me.

Let’s together make 2018 the greatest and kindest year so far.

Happy New Year to all of you! ♡
