Oh wow! Time really flies. It’s been more than a week since my last post, probably one of the longest pauses so far. There are two reasons behind me not posting this past week.
Number one is because things have been hectic and by the time the days have turned to night, I have been so tired I’ve fallen asleep in a second. And I’ve learned one thing through the years – to never run completely out of energy. If I’m that tired, I sleep. And that’s what I have done at 8 pm all last week. And that, naturally, doesn’t leave much time for writing (I usually write best at night!)
The second reason behind why I didn’t post last week is a little bit deeper and complicated, but fun complicated. And I will tell you guys all about it as soon as this event is done. I have good things planned for this blog and I hope you will like it!
This Saturday, September 30th, is D-day
Träningsfesten, the event that I am arranging, is taking place this Saturday. This week is full of preparations and things to get done. There are lists to be written, emails to be sent, goodie-bags to pack and last details to prepare. On top of that I am helping mom out on her fashion show on Wednesday. Luckily I have good colleagues and people around willing to help out with everything so this is gonna be a week full of fun!
It’s funny when things that you have planned for and visualized for months, finally are approaching. Nerves come into play. Will it work out the way I have imagined? Have I thought about everything? Is people gonna like it? Will it be as good as I want it to be? I try to take deep breathes and just continue walking. Taking one step at the time. I really hope this will turn out to be as good as I have vizualized it. No need to worry, Saturday will tell!
And as soon as this week is over, and if I survive Saturday, I will tell you the second reason behind my one week absence from the blog.
