Today is Christmas Eve and this is our second day of celebrations. We spent yesterday at my mom and dad’s house and today we’re celebrating together with Markus family. I had planned so many blog posts before Christmas, but then I got sick and had to just survive the last week. I had to scale down and do less in order to get the most important things done. Our house is a mess and I just don’t care. As long as I everyone is happy, I’m happy.
Erik and grandpa grilling sausages for lunch yesterday.
Erik got a snowboard from grandma and grandpa yesterday and we had to go out and try it straight away. He has been talking about snowboarding a lot lately and he was so stoked! He has never before tried snowboarding so imagine the surprise when the kid just nails it. His balance was great and he could go down the small “hill” (grandpa’s driveway) all by himself.
Guess what the first thing we did when we woke up today was? Yes. Snowboard. -18 degrees today and so beautiful outside, but we stayed outside for a long while. He even wanted a small jump to ride in so grandpa made one. I think this one is a natural. It’s gonna be exciting to see him learn!
All the blog posts I had planned will get to you sooner or later. I have so many fun things planned for 2018 and I will tell you all about it! But first of all we’re gonna celebrate Christmas, rest and spend time together and outside. I just wanted to check in with you and wish you all a Merry Christmas! 🙂
